How You Can Report a Concern

If you are worried about a child, the most important step is to reach out to the proper authorities. When in doubt, call the Missouri Children’s Division Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline at 1-800-392-3738 if you suspect neglect or to report child abuse in Missouri, or dial 911 if the child is in immediate danger.

The hotline is available 24/7, and trained professionals will guide you through what to expect, explain the process, and help ensure the child receives the support they need. We do not provide investigative advice. Our role is to connect children and families with the right services and resources.
